John Thomas Davis III, 68, of Elyria died on Jan. 6, 2009.  He was born April 16, 1940.  He was a US Navy Vet, having served on the US Saratoga.  He was formerly employed for 30 years at the Lorain Ford Assembly Plan, retiring in 1994.  In addition John worked as a barber.
