

Richard "Rich" Bittle, 79, of Elyria, passed away after a short illness in Avon Oaks Nursing Home Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born January 10, 1939 in Chester, Pennsylvania and had moved to Elyria in his younger years.
Rich retired from Ford Motor Company (Lorain Plant) after 47 years of service. He was a 1958 graduate of Elyria High School and enjoyed going to car shows. Rich was a regular on Sundays at Quaker Steak & Lube for the car show there.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Bittle of 54 years, whom he married June 6, 1964; daughters, Suzette (Jerry) True and Amy (Darrick) Duke. Survivors also include his grandchildren, Samantha True, Paul Duke and by his grand-dog, Chance.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Louise Bittle.
Friends may call in The Duke Funeral Home, 1021 Main St., Grafton on Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 3 to 6 P.M. where a funeral service will be held Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11 A.M. Burial will be in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
