Parke Dean Brenneman, 75, of Elyria, went home to be with his Lord May 12, 2014 following a tragic accident. He was born March 29, 1939 in Summit Mills, Pennsylvania. Parke was a 1958 graduate of Elyria High School and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1958-1961. He was employed for twenty five years at General Motors Fisher Body in Elyria and then for five years at General Motors Lordstown, retiring in 1992. He was a charter member of Elyria Grace Brethren Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family especially his granddaughter, Lissa.

Parke is survived by his wife of forty nine years, Nancy Lee Brenneman (nee: Pownall); daughter, Lisa Ann (Will) Smith of Elyria; sons, David Parke (Valerie) Brenneman of Galloway, Ohio and Scott William Brenneman of Elyria; granddaughter, Melissa (Ross) Silvy of Clermont, Florida; brother, Gary Brenneman of Myersdale, Pennsylvania; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces and nephews and friends, Wes Williams, David Lee Johnson and Roger Lemon.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Parke and Sarah (nee: Crissinger) Brenneman and brothers, Donald Ray, Jack Larry and Paul Lynn Brenneman.

A private service will be held for the family.
