I feel Ruth Ann was our first classmate killed in an automobile accident in a Volts Wagon when the car hit a bridge abutment. Her three children were fine. The steering wheel took her life. I'll wonder if she turned her head to talk to her children.
I felt very lucky to have her mother as our Girl Scout Leader for 10 years. She was a loving, caring women as Ruth Ann also was. I'm sorry I never got to see her at the 10 year, first reunion I attended, she was already gone.
